Should we ban cell phones in school? Staying in touch with the current affairs and technology stuff is everyone’s need . To be aware with these things and being connected to other people we use the internet and cellphones. Of course internet is the biggest form of connection these days. But cellphones are also the major sources of connection and getting connected with friends.

With advancement in the telecommunications field technology, the cell phones have become cheaper than what anyone can expect. Nowadays the largest users of cell phones are the youngsters. But the question that arises is that should they be allowed to use it ? Moreover it becomes hectic when it comes to school life . Each student has one cell phone in his pocket. Is it correct ? The answer is no.

There should be rule to ban cell phones in school. The reasons that supports this point is if students carry cell phones with them, they will get very busy with their cellphones that they stop paying attention to the classes. Despite passing a law for each specific school, there should be a rule in the country stating that ” cell phones are banned in schools”. These laws will not only protect the students from getting ruined but will also make studies more productive. The students will be able to focus on their studies.

Of course the cell phones are necessary for communication purpose but still cell phones should be banned in school. The cell phones also account for serious social issues like harassment and teasing issues.These cases are very much related to school life. If we don’t ban cell phones in school, these cases are sure to happen . The teens always look for these sort of incidents and are ready to put it on the Internet to make an issue. As the cellphones give the user a facility of portability, at the same time they take other person’s privacy also. The teens share stuffs related to girls and teachers from their schools on Facebook and other social places. They do it just for fun and not for any specific reason, its the cell phone that helps them in these things.

Finally the bottom line is we should ban cell phones in school because it accounts for various issues from academics to social.
